Mark W. Gill, age 52, passed away Monday afternoon, June 3, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. Funeral services for Mr. Gill will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 with Rev. Damon Plummer presiding. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Batesville. Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Mark was born to Deanna Kay Ethridge & Billy Bramhall Gill in Memphis, TN, on October 1, 1960. He was employeed with Ingram Barge Company as a 2nd Mate for 16 years. Those whom he survives include his wife, Misty Ware Gill of Pope, MS; 2 daughters, Tiffany Lashelle Hallam of Memphis, TN, Karissa Patricia Gill of Clearwater, FL; 2 sons, Harley Wayne Gill & Colton Chase Gill both of Pope; mother, Deanna Kay Ethridge Keen of Courtland; father, Billy Bramhall Gill of Memphis, TN; 4 sisters, Deanna Kaye Patrick of Senatobia, MS, Ellen Delores Pitcock of Branson, MO, Johnnie Martin of Memphis, TN, Cathy Cooper of Bristol, TN; 2 brothers, Vince Howard Gill of Batesville and Jonathon Keen of Batesville; 2 grandchildren. Those who have gone on before him include one brother, Donald Gill; 2 grandmothers, Betty Cross & Alice Goodman; 2 grandfathers, Thomas Etheridge & Claude Gill.
