Earline Hamblin Parrish

Earline H. Parrish, age 92, widow of Bilbo Parrish, passed away Saturday evening, May 4, 2013 at her daughters home in Tunica, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Hollywood Baptist Church in Sledge, MS with Reverend Roy Hartzell presiding. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery near Crenshaw, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Parrish will begin two hours prior to the service at 12:00 P.M. also at Hollywood Baptist Church. Mrs. Parrish was born to James Franklin & Pauline Kirkpatrick Hamblin on July 28, 1920 in Houlka, Mississippi. She was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church. Mrs. Earline retired from Carter's, Inc., in Senatobia, MS. Her survivors include her four daughters, Billie Jones of Crenshaw, Shirley Hudspeth, Donna Wimberly of Sledge and Wanda Welch of Laurel, 5 sisters, Ella Matthews of Sledge, MS, Myrtle Mayo of Crenshaw, MS, Mary Sue O'Neal of Southaven, MS, Gertrude Fair of West Point, MS, Frances Hamblin of Missouri and one brother, Jake Hamblin of Illinois, 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lee Parrish and Freddy Parrish and two brothers, Mack Hamblin and Roy Hamblin.
