Carl Black, age 77, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Monday morning, April 29, 2013 in Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, TN. Carl was born to Lena Evans & William Black, Sr., in Carney, Oklahoma on December 10, 1935. He was a retired contractor. Those whom he leaves behind include his 4 chidren, Lynn Ray of Sardis, MS, Joyce Newsom of Las Vegas, NV, Karen Black of Las Vegas, NV and Vicki Liddicoat of Georgetown, CA, 5 sisters, Barbara Berry of Round Rock, TX, Louise Gutierrez of Oakley, CA, Mary Russell of Las Vegas, NV, Margaret Murley-Feridi of Las Vegas, NV and Kathy Lynch of Las Vegas, NV, 2 brothers, Bill Black, Jr of Aurora NV and Donald Murley of Pleaston, CA, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Mr. Black's memorial service will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. in the Henderson Fiesta Banquet Room, Las Vegas, Nevada.
