Brian Kelly Segars

Brian Kelly Segars, 46 years old, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013, in ICU at Baptist Memorial Hosptial, North MS, Oxford. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Howell officating. Interment will follow at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Wells Funeral Home. Kelly was born to Knox and Shirley Bright Segars in Sardis, Mississippi on October 7, 1946. He was the owner of Segars Trucking Company. Mr. Segars was an avid outdoorsman. To cherish his memory he leaves his sister, Kim Segars Ostheimer of Germantown, TN, 2 brothers, Charles "Chuck" Segars (Neila) of Batesville and Jason Fowler Segars also of Batesville, his nieces, Aleia Danielle Segars and Taylor Rae Ostheimer, one nephew, Richard Chase Ostheimer and step-mother, Patricia Segars of Batesville, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Knox and Shirley Segars. Pallbearers for Kelly's service will be, Richard & Chase Ostheimer, Toney Johnson, Chris Deaton, Bobby Montgomery and Barry Simmons. Tim Deaton will serve as Honorary pallbearer.
