James "Jim" C. Ledbetter

James C. "Jim" Ledbetter, 66, formerly of Starkville, MS, passed away in Ruleville Nursing & Rehab Center, on Thursday morning, April 18, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Batesville, MS, with Reverend Roger Howell presiding. Jim was born to Sulpecia B. Esplana & Clester "Bill" Faye Ledbetter on February 23, 1947 in the Phillipines. He was a Service Station Operator who worked many years in Chicago, IL. Jim was a very meek and humble person, always smiling. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his mother, Sulpecia B. Esplana Ledbetter of Chicago, IL and his step mother, Betty Jo Gore Wiseman, of Oxford, MS. He was preceded in death by his father, Clester "Bill" Ledbetter and a brother, Willie John Ledbetter.
