Patrick Scruggs

Patrick Scruggs, age 34, passed away Tuesday evening in an auto accident on Eureka Road near Courtland, MS. Patrick's funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the First United Pentecostal Church, Batesville, MS. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Wells Funeral Home. Patrick was born on January 14, 1979 in Batesville, MS to Jesse Lee & Ruby Pittman Scruggs. He worked in the construction industry and a Pentecostal by faith. Survivors include his mother, Ruby Pittman Scruggs of Courtland, MS, 1 daughter, Phoenix Scruggs of Courtland, 2 sons, Seth Scruggs and Gabriel Scruggs both of Courtland, Wife, Jennifer Mask Scruggs of Courtland, 4 sisters, Robin Anderson of Batesville, Mary Taylor of Crowder, Debbie Pittman of Marks, MS and Beth Benson of Georgia, 8 brothers, Kimball Alexander of Enid, MS, Jeffery Alexander of Marks, MS, Jim Scruggs of Sardis, MS, Ronnie Scruggs of Louisiana, David Scruggs of MA, Kenneth Scruggs of TN, Rayford Scruggs of Sardis, MS and Keith Scruggs of TX. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Lee Scruggs, aSister, Jennifer Nichols, and one brother, Randy Alexander.
