Jimmy R. Harrell

Jimmy R. Harrell, age 56, passed away Tuesday morning, April 2, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. The funeral service will be at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Howell officiating. Visitation for Mr. Harrell will begin one hour prior to the service, and the interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park, Batesville, MS. Jimmy was born August 7, 1956 in Pelahatchie, MS to the late Ollie Ray and Gladys Genell Shivers Harrell. He was an electrician for Star Delta in Clarksdale, MS. He leaves his wife, Joyce J. Harrell of Water Valley, MS, 2 daughters, Jamey Miller of Clarksdale, MS, Tina Wirt of Indiana, one son, Jessie Harrell of Petal, MS, and one step-son, Roby McPherson of Jasper, AL, one brother, Bobby Harrell of Jackson, MS and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Sandra West.
