Laddie Glen "Ladd" Rogers, age 59, passed away at his home in Sardis, MS Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 27, 2013 in Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. in Forrest Hill East Cemetery, Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN. Lad was born to James Robert and Bobbie Wren Rice Rogers in Memphis, TN on May 30, 1953. He was an Electrician with IBW Electrical Local 474 in Memphis, TN. Before working in Memphis, Mr. Rogers was employed in Page, AZ at the Navajo Generation Station during it's construction in the 1970's. While there, he thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Brice Canyon and Zion National Park. His survivors include his wife, Victoria "Vikki" Candelaria Rogers of Sardis, MS, 2 sons, Jason Rogers of Edinburg, TX and Kris Rogers of Memphis, TN, 1 brother, Mike Rogers of Collierville, TN and his in-laws, who he adored, Victor & Helen Candelaria of LeChee, AZ, 4 grandchildren, Jace Everette Rogers, Avery Wren Rogers, Holden Kross Rogers and Hayle K. Stansell.
