Bobbie Nell Stapp

Bobbie Nell Segars Stapp, age 74, passed away on Monday afternoon, March 18, 2013 in Tri-Lakes Medical Center, Batesville, MS. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Stapp will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Legge officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, March 22, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Bobbie was born to Rush Knox & Valeria Wood Segars in Panola County, MS on February 4, 1939. Throughout her career she worked as a bookkeeper for Bud Oakman Car Dealership in Clarksdale, and also for Self Furniture Co., in Marks and the Hosiery Mill in Batesville. Later in life, she owned and operated "Bobbie's Beauty Shop" in Clarksdale, MS and retired from being a beautician and began spending time doing the things she most enjoyed: shopping, hiking with grandchildren, going on picnics and collecting antiques. Mrs. Stapp was of the Baptist faith. Those family members she leaves behind include, her husband, Aaron Thomas Stapp of Batesville, MS, 3 daughters, Amy Stapp of Batesville, Susan Hallford of Winona, Cynthia Hale of Batesville, MS, 2 sons, Troy Segars Stapp of Walls, MS, Dennis Hallford of Winona, 3 grandchildren, Ali Honaker, Paige Hallford Colotta & Kyle Hallford along with 3 great-grandchildren, Paisley Anne Colotta, Cannon Colotta and James Kale Hallford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Watts, a brother, Knox Segars and a great-grandchild, Aaden Kyle Hallford.
