Dorothy Stanford Means

Dorothy Stanford Means, age 84, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North MS. She was the widow of Charles L. Means of Batesville, MS. Funeral services will 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Central Academy Church of Christ in Batesville, MS with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Mr. Ed Casteel will be officiating the services. Mrs. Means was born July 10, 1928 in Detroit, AL to the late Raymond and Ethel Lewis Stanford. Dorothy was a retired bookkeeper and took great pride in loving her grandchildren. She was also a member of Central Academy Church of Christ She is survived by her daughter, Charla Means Stark of Batesville, MS; step-daughter, Sheron Means Johnson of Southaven, MS and five grandchildren, Reager Stark, Elizabeth Stark, Houston Stark, Anna Gray Stark, and Becker Stark.
