Jane Cook Rosenkrans

Jane Cook Booth Rosenkrans, age 64, passed away Tuesday evening, March 5, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. Local visitation for Mrs. Rosenkrans will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 7, 2013, at Wells Funeral Home. Friday evening, March 8, 2013, the family will receive friends at the Mims-Mitchell Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in Magee, MS. Dr. Paul Middleton will officiate the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Mims-Mitchell Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magee Cemetery. Mrs. Jane was born on October 16, 1948 to Hershal Junior & Beulah Mae Williamson Cook in Jackson, MS. She worked in the healthcare industry as an LPN. Mrs. Rosenkrans enjoyed fishing, camping, sewing, shopping, playing card games with her family. Some of her most fond memories were spent at family BBQ's. Mrs. Rosenkrans was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville and she was also a member of the Eastern Star, the Batesville Lion's Club and Tri-Lake's Hospital Auxiliary. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband of over 24 years, Ramon H. Rosenkrans, M.D., of Batesville, MS, 2 daughters, Kimberly Michelle McCrory (Greg) of Pearl, MS, Alicia Rosenkrans of Seabrook, TX, 4 sons, Michael Todd Booth (Brenda) of Mendenhall, MS, William Chad Booth (Dianna) of Mendenhall, MS, Chris Rosenkrans (Angie) of Phoenix, AZ, and Brian Rosenkrans of Brooklyn, NY, along with one sister, Patricia Mae McCain of Magee, MS, and a step-sister, Margaret McNair also of Magee, 3 brothers, Dallas Cook of Mendenhall, MS, Edward Cook (Nita) of Mize, MS, and Jerry Cook of Magee, MS, 14 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Booth, one sister, Betty Jean Cook Thompson, a brother, Paul Junior Cook, brother-in-law, Thomas McCain and her step-father, James W. McCain.
