William "Mark" Marshall Hamblin, Sr., 53 years of age, died in his home, in Courtland, MS on Wednesday morning, February 13, 2013.
A 2:00 p.m. funeral is scheduled for Mark on Friday, 2/15/13, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Aven and Rev. James Strange officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, 2/14/13, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamblin was born to William Robert & Faye Roberson Burns in Courtland, MS on February 4, 1960. He was a member of the New Hope Church of God in Batesville, MS. Mark worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Those family members whom he leaves behind include his loving wife, Reba Raines Hamblin of Courtland, MS, 3 daughters, Tanya Hamblin Durrance of Batesville, MS, Dana Wilson & Michelle Harris both of Arkansas, 3 sons, William Marshall Hamblin, Jr., Michael Burns and Daniel Burns all who preside in Batesville, his mother, Faye Roberson Burns of Batesville, MS along with 3 sisters, Carolyn Hamblin Windham of Hernando, MS, Melinda Vires of Olive Branch, MS and Cindy McGhee of Memphis, TN, 4 brothers, William Michael Hamblin of Houlka, MS, Sammy Washington of Houlka and Marty Washington of Houlka, and Ricky Burns of Olive Branch, MS and 7 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Robert Hamblin.
