Emma V. Jolley

Emma V. Jolley, 87, widow of the late Rev. G.E. Jolley, Sr., passed away Friday evening at her home in Batesville, MS. The funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday morning, February 11, 2013 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Jolley was born October 25, 1925 in Flora, MS to the late George E. and Sarah Eckles Hughes. She was a homemaker and member of Pope Baptist Church. Mrs. Jolley's memory will be cherished by her daughter, Doris Ann Jolley of Batesville, MS; son, G.E. "Gil" Jolley, Jr. of Batesville, MS; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Per Mrs. Jolley's request, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Pope Baptist Church in Pope, MS.
