Hoyle Alton McCain, Sr.

Hoyle Alton McCain, Sr., age 83, passed away Sunday evening, February 3, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS. Hoyle was born August 27, 1929 in Ruleville, MS to the late Lionel and Constane Reed McCain. He was a retired Air Traffic Controller and was a honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army having reached the rank of Corporal. Hoyle was a member of the Church of Christ. Hoyle is survived by his wife, Stella Wilson McCain of Sardis, MS; two daughters, Traci McCain Stevens of Lexington, TN, Shana McCain Redwine of Sardis, MS; two sons, Hoyle McCain, Jr. and Timothy McCain, both of Sardis, MS; brother, Charles R. McCain of Byhalia, MS; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The McCain family will hold a memorial service at their home on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
