Sarah Pauline Wimberly

Sarah Pauline White Wimberly, age 90, of Marks, MS, widow of Ralph Eugene Wimberly, Sr., passed away on Thursday afternoon, 1/17/13, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center, Batesville, MS. Mrs. Sarah's funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, 1/20/13, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Bumpers presiding. Visitation will begin at 12:30 there in the funeral home on Sunday afternoon. She will be buried by her husband, Ralph, in Lambert Cemetery. Sarah was born in Tillatoba, MS on July 9, 1922, to Homer Arvil & Myrtle Helmes White. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Wimberly was a retired hospital ward clerk. She leaves her 3 daughters, Jackie Purdy of Pascagoula, MS, Bobbie Rodgers of Batesville, MS and Brenda Brown of Winona, MS along with a son, Ralph Wimberly, Jr., of Sledge, MS, one sister, Mittylene Goodwin, 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
