Robert "Kit" Christopher McArthur, 55, of Sardis, MS, passed away Tuesday, Janaury 15, 2013. Funeral services for "Kit" will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 1/19/2013, at Wells Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Jones officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mr. McArthur was born on January 7, 1957 to Robert & Martha Willingham McArthur in Marks, MS. He was a construcion worker and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. To cherish his memory, he leaves 2 daughters, Ashley McArthur Stevens of Senatobia, MS and Elizabeth Meirelles of Portsmouth, VA; 2 sons, Justin McArthur of Macon, TN and Matthew Forest Survillo of Palo Alto, CA, one sister, Dayle McArthur Tenhet of London, KY and two grandchildren, Mary Grace McArthur and Noah Stevens.
