Eddie Mae Jones

Eddie Mae Jones, age 88, passed away Monday evening, January 7, 2013 at Senatobia Convalescent Center in Senatobia, MS. The funeral for Mrs. Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 1/10/13, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Tullos presiding. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, 1/9/13. Eddie Mae was born to Ida Mae Prysock & Ben Wood on July 5, 1924 in Quitman County, MS. She was of the the Assembly of God faith. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. To cherish her memory she leaves 2 daughters, Lyndal Bray (James) of Hernando, MS, Janell Buck of Sardis, MS, 3 sons, Travis Jones of Denton, TX, Ronald Jones of Batesville, MS and Dale Jones of Batsville, MS, one sister, Mary Wood Cook of Hickory Flat, MS, 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Those who have preceded her in death include her parents, her husband, James Leonard Jones, 2 sons, Joel Jones & Dewain Jones and numerous brothers and sisters.
