Dr. Musa B. Caffey, age 92 widow of Josh Caffey, Jr., died Friday morning, 12/21/12, at Graceland Care Center in Oxford, MS.
Funeral services for Dr. Caffey will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, 12/23/12, at the First United Methodist Church, 119 Panola Ave., Batesville. Reverend Pat Ludlam & Reverend Ed Temple will officiate the service. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church. Interment will follow in Oakhurst Cemetery, Clarksdale, MS.
Musa was born in Clarksdale, MS on August 16, 1920 to John B. & Lillie Clark Baker. She was an educator for over 20 years. Mrs. Caffey was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Batesville.
She leaves a loving family to carry on her legacy; including, her son, George H. (Trina) Caffey of Batesville, MS, Sister, Mildred Baker Spooner of Memphis, TN, a brother, Dr. John Bee Baker of Baton Rouge, LA, and 4 Grandchildren: Cheryl Caffey Hayward, Angela Caffey Hayward, Michael Sean Caffey, Shannon Caffey Robbins and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Josh W. Caffey, III.
