Joyce Herbert Kirkham, 89, passed away Monday evening, 12/10/12, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto in Southaven, MS. The family will receive friends from 12:00-12:30 at Wells Funeral Home on Friday, 12/14/12, with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, 470 Pilgrims Rest Road, Batesville, MS. Joyce was born on December 5, 1923 in Hunnington Island, NY to Joseph Allen & Dorothy Burton Herbert. She was a homemaker and a member of Olive Branch Christian Church. She leaves one daughter, Rahne Kirkham of Federal Way, WA, one son, Gary Kirkham of Puyallup, WA, one sister, Olive Pearl Rutherford of Olive Branch, MS, 2 brothers Warren Joseph Herbert of Olive Branch and Robert J. Herbert of Byhalia, MS, 2 grandchildren Cindy Early and Teresa Kirkham.
