Video Memorial TributeSandra Gail Anthony, age 62, passed away Monday morning, December 3, 2012, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Mrs. Anthony's funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 12/6/12, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Paul Middleton presiding. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Pope, MS. The Anthony family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Wells Funeral Home. Sandra was born in Chicago, IL, on August 17, 1950, to George Raymond & Martha Virginia Roberts Bynum. She had retired from her career as a cosmetologist after serving the public for many years in the Panola county area. Mrs. Sandra was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. Everyone who knew her will remember her as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and most of all, she was a true friend. To cherish her memory she leaves her husband of 45 years, Jimmy D. Anthony, Sr., daughter, Tammy Anthony Cowsert of Pope, MS, son, Jimmy D. Anthony, Jr. of Pope, 3 brothers, Donald Bynum of Water Valley, MS, Larry Bynum of Chicago, IL, and Ronald Terry Bynum of Senatobia, MS, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Edward Bynum. Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Anthony, Sammy Anthony, Terry Anthony, Waylon Banks,  Austin Cowsert and Daniel Sanford. Connor Anthony will be acting as honorary pallbearer for Mrs. Sandra.
