A funeral for Herman will be held on Tuesday, 11/6/12, at 11:00 a.m. in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Mr. Smith will be buried in Lovejoy Cemetery, Pope, MS. Herman was born on December 10, 1963, to Ruby Louise McCullar & James Herman Smith in Marks, MS. He was employeed by Pittsburg Tank & Tower as a welder for 20 years. Herman will be dearly missed by his family, which includes his wife, Lisa Ruth Blevins Smith of Batesville; 2 daughters, Rachael Ann Laakso Kosal of Brown City, MI, Laura Elizabeth Laakso Chafin of Brown City, MI; son, Timothy William Laakso of Brown City, MI; mother, Ruby Louise McCullar Smith of Batesville; 2 sisters, Linda Faye Smith Pittman of Batesville, and Brenda Lee Smith Comstock of Batesville; 2 brothers, Earl Junior Smith of Tupelo, MS and Ronnie Lynn Smith of Batesville, along with 5 grandchildren.
