Linda S. Sorrells

Video Memorial TributeLinda S. Sorrells, age 63, passed away Saturday evening, October 6, 2012 at Community Hospice House in Verona, MS. On Tuesday morning, 10/09/12, at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Terry Tribble will officiate the funeral service for Mrs. Sorrells in Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until service time, the family will receive friends. Mrs. Sorrells will be buried at Hebron Cemetery, Sardis, MS. Serving as her pallbearers will be Chris Carter, Nick Sullivan, Jonathan Pitcock, Benjamin Pitcock, Richard Apodaca, and Danny Wilson. Honorary Bearers will be Chuck Nix. Linda was born in Batesville, MS, on May 10, 1949, to J.W. & Geneva Grace Duvall Sullivan. She was an Registered Nurse and a member of Hebron Baptist Church. Linda was the wife of Bob Sorrells of Sardis, MS and the mother of one daughter, Stacy Sorrells Mills of Sarah, MS, 3 sons, Jason Sorrells of Sarah, MS, Andrew Sorrells of Enid, MS and Shane Sorrells of Greenwood, MS. She also leaves her mother, Geneva Grace Duvall Appleton of Batesville, MS, 3 brothers, Billy Wilson of Walls, MS, Charles Appleton of Batesville, MS and Mike Sullivan of Illinois, 10 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Beside her father, J.W., she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Pete Sullivan and Phil Appleton.
