Video Memorial TributeMabel Taylor Stovall, age 88, passed away Tuesday evening, September 25, 2012, at Sardis Nursing Home in Sardis, MS.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stovall will be held at 10:00 a.m. on, September 28, 2012, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Paul Middleton presiding. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
Mabel was born in Webster County, Mississippi, on August 7, 1924, to Robert Lee & Muggie Tullos Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Batesville.
She is survived by her son, John D. Kilpatrick (Marcia) of Batesville, MS, Step-Daughter, Ruth Houlgrave of Shreveport, LA, one Granddaughter, Emily Kilpatrick Cochran (Ryan) of Batesville, MS, 2 Step-Granddaughters, Laura Whitnell (Pat) of Houston, TX, and Dinah Roach (James) of Shreveport, LA, 1 Great Grandson, Hays Cochran of Batesville, MS and 2 Step-Great Grandsons, Michael Whitnell and Jim Roach and 2 Step-Great Granddaughter, Christine Whitnell and Christa Dipaul.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Stovall was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo G. Stovall, two Brothers, William Taylor and Howard Taylor, 2 Sisters, Lorene Taylor Harris and Bessie Taylor Henley, a Step-Daughter, Margie Houlgrave.
