Video Memorial TributeWilliam Travis Hance, 73, passed away at his home in Batesville, MS, Monday afternoon, September 10, 2012. Funeral services will be 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, September 14, 2012, at First Faith Baptist Church, 3254 Sardis Lake Dr., Batesville, MS, with visitation from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening at First Faith Baptist Church. Visitation will also be held prior to the service on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Reverend Terry Floyd will be officiating and interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Mr. Hance was born in Memphis, TN, on April 16, 1939 to Elco & Earnestine Hance. He has lived in the community since 1972 and worked as a water operator for Sardis Lake Community Water Assoc. Mr. Hance was a member of First Faith Baptist Church in Batesville. His survivors include, his wife, Sena Mae Hance of Batesville, MS, daughter, Deborah S. Hollowell of Batesville, MS, step-daughter, Rena Harman of Olathe, KS, 2 step-sons, Butch Clair of Batesville, MS and Sean Clair of Cabot, AR, 4 brothers, Edwin Hance (Kay) of Heber Springs, AR, Wayne Hance (Sharon) of Millington, TN, Richard Hance (Carol) of Millington, TN and James Hance (Betty) of Millington, TN, 2 sisters, Virginia Hance Martin (Tony) of Batesville, MS and Doris Hance Howse (Billy) of Bogue Chitto, MS, 9 Grandchildren, April Singleton, William Hollowell, Michelle Brower, Rachel Brower, Justin Brower, Karlee Clair, Corbin Clair, Nicole Harman and Jerry Burns, and 12 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine E. Brower, a son, David M. Hance and his first wife, Phyllis Keith Hance.
