Video Memorial TributeEvelyn Virginia Roberson McGehee age 81 widow of Joe S. McGehee, Sr., died Sunday morning at Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 o'clock P.M. Friday, September 7, 2012 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens in Charleston, MS. Visitation will begin two hours prior to service at 12:00 noon. Reverend Eugene Howell will be officiating the funeral service. Mrs. McGehee was born June 7, 1931 in Batesville, MS to the late Jake and Ivy James Roberson. She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS. She is survived by one daughter, Michelle McGehee Green of Batesville, MS; two sons, Joe S. McGehhe, Jr. (Peggy) of Pope, MS, Jake R. McGehee (Claudette) of Batesville, MS; two sisters, Jane Roberson Uleston of Charleston, MS, Irene Roberson Wolf of Charleston, MS; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, James Earl McGehee and two brothers, Willis and Cecil.
