A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, 9/2/12, at Dogwood Chapel in Aliceville, AL, with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. The Carroll family will receive friends at the chapel after the conclusion of the memorial service until 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at the Aliceville Memorial Gardens. The family asks that friends attend a visitation at the Carroll's home, located at 1782 Terza Rd., Batesville, MS, on Friday, 8/31/12, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.The family asks friends to attend a visitation time at Mr. Carroll's home, located at 1782 Terza Road, Batesville, MS, on Friday, August 31, 2012, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.Daniel was born in Aliceville, AL. on December 22, 1953 to Dewey Cecil and Gladys "Jackie" Lorraine Gilliam Carroll. He was of the Baptist faith and worked as a salesman all his life. Mr. Carroll honorably served his country in the United States Army."Boone" is survived by his wife, Vonnie Toliver Carroll of Batesville, MS; one daughter, Angela Clayton of Little Rock, AR; his son, Luke Woodruff of Jackson, TN; seven sisters, Kay Carroll Henderson of Mobile, AL, Glenda Carroll Logan of Northport, AL, Eva Carroll Patrick of Houston, TX, Karen Carroll Black of Carrollton, AL, Sharen Carroll Richardson of Carrollton, AL, Carolyn Carroll Durden of Pell City, AL, Marilyn Carroll Park of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Cecil Ray Carroll of Northport, AL and Ronald Gene Carroll of Aliceville, AL; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, along with great nieces and nephews.The family requets that memorials be sent to the following charities: American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
