Video Memorial TributeReverend Donald C. O'Quin age 73, husband of Harriett P. O'Quin, died Tuesday morning 8/7/12 at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. Services for Rev. O'Quin will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, 8/9/12, at First Baptist Church, Lambert, MS, with Dr. Robert Self officiating. Interment will follow at 5:30 p.m. in Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, MS. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, 8/8/12 at Wells Funeral Home. Rev. O'Quin was born on February 12, 1939, in Jayess, MS, to Cleon Whitfield & Lois Rayburn O'Quin. Bro. Don served The Lord as a Baptist Minister for over 45 years. Among the churches he pastored: Crosby Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Centerville, MS, First Baptist Church of Mt. Olive, MS, First Baptist Church of Charleston, MS and most recently First Baptist Church, Lambert, MS. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy after serving four years during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his wife, Harriett Peeples O'Quin of Lambert, MS; daughter, Margaret O'Quin Bouler of Batesville, MS; son, Alan O'Quin (Emily) of Brownsville, TN and 3 grandchildren, Emma-Davis O'Quin, Mary-Alan O'Quin and Whit O'Quin. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sigmon O'Quin and a sister, Hilda O'Quin Martin.
