Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 18, 2012 at Holywood Baptist Church in Sledge, MS with Reverend Roy Hartzell officiating. Bonnie was born September 26, 1930 in Morehouse, MO to the late Ralph Lee and Marie Huffman Berry. She was a retired beautician and member of Hollywood Baptist Church in Sledge, MS. Mrs. Sunkin was a widower of two husbands, the late Willard Whiteside and Jack Sunkin. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Hanson of Galesburg, IL; four grandchildren, Todd Lewis (Sadie) of Springield, IL, Stephanie Lewis of Marquette Heights, IL, Heida Lewis Miller (John) of Fort Collins, CO, Heather Lewis Wood (Randy) of Eaton Rapids, MI; five great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Berry (Joyce) of Crenshaw, MS; faithful nieces and caregivers, Bonnie Sinclair and Mary Cummins. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Whiteside Lewis.
