Dorothy Tuttle Bailey

Dorothy Tuttle Bailey age 91, died Tuesday evening 6/5/12 at her daughters home in Starkville, MS surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brownie Tohill presiding. Interment to follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning. Mrs. Bailey was born October 24, 1920 in Batesville, MS to the late William Thomas and Lillie Neal Thetford Tuttle. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville, MS and was a homemaker and a life long artisan and crafts person. Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Thomas W. Bailey of Starkville, MS; two daughters, Olivia Bailey Loftis (Ted) of Starkville, MS, Donna Bailey DeFord (Alvis) of Starkville, MS; five grandchildren, Bailey Anderson, Neal Anderson, Meredith Adams, Kevin Anderson, and Ben Loftis; seven great-grandchildren, Tessa Loftis, Carson Loftis, Davis Anderson, Neely Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Audrey Adams and Carol Grace Anderson. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude's Ronald McDonald House.
