Funeral services for Martha will be held on Sunday, 6/3/12, at 2:00 p.m. at Pope Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Berry officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Bruce, MS. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday evening, 6/2/12, at Wells Funeral Home. Martha was born on July 15, 1949 in Aberdeen, MS to W.E. and Martha Ledbetter Flippo. She was a retired LPN and a member of Pope Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Allen Turman of Oxford, MS; 2 sisters, Deborah Kaye Roach of Cabot, AR and Lisa Jo Lewellen of Cabot, AR; brother, James K. Flippo of Pope, MS and one granddaughter, Isabella Turman of Oxford, MS. Memorials may be made to Pope Baptist Church "Flower Fund", P.O. Box 34, Pope, MS 38658 or The American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1718, Batesville, MS 38606. Pallbearers for Martha's service will be Phil Ledbetter, Scott Ledbetter, Rivers McArthur, Darryl McCreary, Brandon Lewellyn and Bubba Roach. David Odom will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
