Eddie Joe Waldrup

Eddie Joe Waldrup, age 65, died Monday morning 5/28/12 at the Kindred Healthcare Primacy in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 5/30/12, at 11:00 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David L. Newton officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The Waldrup family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Eddie was born to Taylor Joe & Ruby Roberson Waldrup in Batesville, MS on May 27, 1947. He was a member of the Pope United Methodist Church. Mr. Waldrup was the Comptroller for 25 years for the Memphis Catholic Diocese. He was survived by his brother, Phil Waldrup and wife, Anne, of Pope, MS. Memorials may be sent to any church or charity of the donors choice. Serving as Pallbearers for Mr. Waldrup: Keith Ales, S. Lee Autrey, E.C. Daves, Brian Gee, Jim Pitcock and Bobby Watkins. Alex Watkins, David Watkins, Jayden Watkins, Jordan Watkins, Tristian Watkins and Scott Watkins will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
