Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Forrest Memorial Park. Reverend Charles Locke will be officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening, May 11, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Tidwell was born July 9, 1943 in Batesville, MS to the late Victor and Dorothy Hawkins Tidwell. Wayne attended Courtland Baptist Church and was a retired route salesman. Wayne is survived by his wife, Judy Wright Tidwell of Batesville, MS; son, Rodney G. Tidwell of Summit, MS; sister, Mary Quay Russell of Batesville, MS; brother, David Tidwell of Batesville, MS and two granddaughters, Abbigale and Annabelle Tidwell. Wayne was also preceded in death by one son, Rocky Tidwell.
