A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 4/18/12, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Courtland, MS. Reverend Reed Buntin, Jr. will preside. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, 4/18/12, at Wells Funeral Home. Ms. Buntin was born on October 23, 1939 to James "Buster" Bedford & Flemmie Gertrude James Whitten in Panola County, MS. She was retired from E.L. Garner Oil Company where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of Tocowa Baptist Church. She leaves her son, Al Darby of Batesville, MS. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jane Buntin; son, Joseph Michael Buntin and a brother, James Whitten. The family asks that memorials be sent to Tocowa Baptist Church, 956 Tocowa Rd, Courtland, MS 38620. Serving as Pallbearers will be Robert Buntin, Van Boyd, Jim Whitten, Jason Wolfe, Kirk Willingham, Jim Thomas, Bob Whitten, L.J. McGehee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Cook & Ronnie Cook.
