Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Crumb presiding. Burial to follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Sardis, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was born to Leon Clifton & Orede King Smith on July 4, 1943 in Tyro, MS. He was Baptist in faith. Mr. Smith was an Auto Body Repairman for over 45 years having worked with Brown & Gullege of Senatobia, MS and later he worked for Holcomb Body Shop in Batesville, MS. He was survived by his wife, Marsha Storar Smith of Sardis, MS; 4 sons, Tony Smith of Mt. View, AR, Wayne Smith of Looxahoma, MS, Mike Smith of Loxxahoma and William Craig Burdett of Southaven, MS; daughter, Michelle Smith of Mountain View, AR; brother, Gene Smith of Lake Cormorant, MS; 10 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Sissy "Clair Bell" and Tena; 3 brothers, James "Bubba", Nat, and Bob. Serving as pallbearers for Mr. Smith's service will be: Kevin Shideler, Tim Smith, Joseph Smith, Michael Burdett, Jerry Pafford, Buck Felty, Bret Blanks & Bill Schamehorn.
