Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeL.C. "Mac" McCurdy age 78 of Batesville, MS, died Wednesday evening, 2/29/12, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 3/3/12, in Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Robert Rawson and Mr. Michael Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Park Cemetery with Al Bright, Lee Scruggs, Mike Wilson, Dennis Still, Mike Martindale and Bobby Walton serving as Pall Bearers.  Honorary Pall Bearers will be Buddy Douglas & Charles Cobb.  The McCurdy family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday morning. Mr. McCurdy was born on June 21, 1933 in Water Valley, MS to Lawrence L. & Louise McCullar McCurdy. Mac was a member of the Batesville Church of Christ. He worked for MS Dept. Of Transportation as a Lab Technician for 25 years. Mac also served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. His survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Brockman McCurdy of Batesville, MS; 3 sons, Robert Steven McCurdy of Memphis, TN, Russell Glen McCurdy of Knoxville, TN and Kenneth L. Click of Medina, TN,; 1 sister, Gerry McCurdy Holliday of Memphis, TN; 11 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren; Niece & Nephew, Don & Gena Douglas and Grand Nephew, Dylan Douglas.
