Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday 2/26/12 at Crowder Baptist Church with Reverend Harvey Sewell and Reverend Larry Kilgore officiating. Interment will be in Crowder Cemetery with Ty Austin, Larry Barton, Austin Brasel, Ricky Hudson, Leroy Matthews, Harold Reid, Leroy Reid and Mervin Reid serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Saturday 2/25/12 at Wells Funeral Home. Mrs. Austin was born in Lambert, MS August 25, 1919 to Henry Cornelius and Liza Jane Murphree Reid. Marie was retired from Panola Mills and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Crowder Baptist Church. Survivors are two Sons: Raymond A. Austin, Jr. and wife Bettie of Crowder, MS and Tommy Austin and wife Judy of Batesville, MS. 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Liza Murphree Reid; Husband: Raymond A. Austin; Sisters: Myrtle and Gertrude; Brothers: Winston, Edward, Winfred and Hernando.
