Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, 2/19/12, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Mrs. Finley was born to Raymond L. & Martha Halliburton Siltman on Jan. 30, 1938 in Chicago, IL. She attended Batesville High School and began her college degree at Ole Miss and completed her degree at Mississippi State University. She was a member of Adaton Baptist Church in Starkville, MS where she enjoyed serving as pianist and an Acteen leader. She retired from a career as an Elementary Special Education teacher. Mrs. Finley taught for the Ackerman and Clay County Schools. Mrs. Finley was a long standing board member of the PTA in the Clay County Schools. Mrs. Finley loved to travel, dance, play the piano and be with her family.
She is survived by her Husband, Robert Pearson Finley; Daughter, Cynthia Finley Rose of Daphne, AL; 4 Sons, Robert Leslie Finley of Denton, TX, John Raymond Finley of Denton, TX, James Kevin Finley of Starkville, MS and Christopher Lee Finley of Ft. Worth, TX; Brother, Leslie Howard Siltman of Galatin, TN; and 5 Grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and 2 Sisters, Sandra Siltman Martin and Betty Ann Siltman Pratt.
