Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeTommy L. Lantrip, age 71, formerly of Batesville, MS, died on Tuesday morning, 2/14/12, at his home in Senatobia, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 2/17/12, at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Berry & Dr. Robert Self officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Sardis, MS. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, 2/16/12 at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Tommy was born to the late J. M. & Lillian McAlister Lantrip on May 10, 1040 in Sardis, MS. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. Mr. Tommy was the Service Manager for Heafner Motors for 39 years. During his retirement, Mr. Lantrip worked part-time as a Security Guard at the I-55 North Mississippi Rest Area. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Genie B. Glasgow Lantrip of Senatobia, MS; Daughter, Allison Lantrip Eoff (Brian) of Senatobia, MS; Son, Stacy C. Lantrip (Melissa Gandy) of Ft. Worth, TX; 3 Sisters, Louise Lantrip Durham of Fulton, KY, Reanie Lantrip Causey of Cordova, TN; Mary Evelyn Lantrip Hill of Southaven, MS; Brother, Guy L. Lantrip of Copperas Cove, TX; 3 Grandchildren: Lydia, Hayden and Jack. He was preceded by his parents; 2 Sisters: Jewell and Iris; 4 Brothers: Creed, Wayne, Jimmy and Russell.
