Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday 2/5/2012 at Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Tribble officiating. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 2/4/2012 from 5-8 PM at Wells Funeral Home. Johnnie Lee was born November 25, 1937 in Panola County to the late Birtee O. and Mary Louise Leeton Perkins. Johnnie was a member and Deacon of Hebron Baptist Church and President of Hebron Water Association. For the last 10 years he has been a mechanic for Graeber Brothers Gas Company. Johnnie leaves 3 Daughters: Regina Perkins Arnold (Tom)- Chaney, KA; Kim Perkins Bruce (Todd)- Sardis, MS; Sherrie Perkins McCollum (John)- Sardis, MS; Son: Justin Birtee Perkins (Angie)- Sardis, MS; Sister:Mary Lee Perkins Wilson (Bobby Joe)- Sarah, MS; 5 Brothers: David Perkins (Beverly)- Crystal Springs, MS; Larry Perkins (Angie)- Sardis, MS; Frank Perkins (Frances)- Sardis, MS; Paul Perkins (Shirley)- Saltillo, MS; Darrell Perkins (Emily)- Southaven, MS; 14 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
