Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS with Reverend Jerry Wages officiating. The family will receive freinds from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Saturday at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Douglas was born August 23, 1926 in Dentville, MS to the late Wyatt Smith and Nanny Mae Devault Douglas. Buddy was a retired plumber of 42 years and member of the Local Plumbers Union #17 in Memphis, TN. Mr. Douglas is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Cobb Douglas of Sardis, MS; daughter, Jeannie Rochelle Douglas Sevier of Springhill, TN; sister, Sue Douglas Thompson of Florence, AL; brother, Denon Douglas of Vacaville, CA; two grandchildren, Shane Spence Sevier and Diana Jennette Sevier both of Springhill, TN.
