Pauline Walters Scruggs

Pauline Walters Scruggs, age 82, widow of Leonard E. "Buddy" Goodwin and Lilburn W. "Billy" Scruggs passed away Friday morning, January 13, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Batesville, MS. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday 1/14/12 at Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Ed Woodall and Reverend Doug Pepper officiating. Interment will follow in Forrest Memorial Park with Jerry Walters, Charles Allen, Glen Crafton, Floyd McGehee, Marvin Sparks and Calvin Land serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Scruggs was born Janaury 26, 1929 in Panola County, MS to the late Milton O. and Lenora Cooper Walters. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Batesville, MS and was a retired factory worker. Mrs. Scruggs is survived by her Daughter, Bonnie G. Land of Batesville, MS; Sister, Jean Walters Taylor of Lakewood, CO; Brother, Benny E. Walters of Batesville, MS; one Granddaughter, Camille (Kent)Breckenridge of Batesville, MS and two Great-Grandchildren, Sloan and Brame Garner of Batesville, MS.
