Friday 1/13/12 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Bishop Floyd Massey officiating. Interment will be in Charleston City Cemetery in Charleston, MS. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Mrs. Richardson was born July 28, 1917 in Denison, TX to William A. and Johnnie Moore Simmons. Sara was a homemaker and she was a Baptist in faith. She leaves 3 Daughters: Alice Richardson Hickey- Senatobia, MS; Faye Richardson Purser- Southaven, MS; Betty Jane Richardson Knight- Brandon, MS; 1 Son: Thomas Richardson- Senatobia, MS; 2 Sisters: Inez Simmons Baker- Batesville, MS; Nellie Simmons Anthony- Arlington, TN; 2 Brothers: J.E. Simmons- Millington, TN; John Simmons- Eads, TN; 10 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.  She was preceeded in death by a Sister: Darthula; 4 Brothers: Gerald, William, Robert and Floyd.
