There will be a private family service Wednesday and then will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Wells Funeral Home. Joe was born March 20, 1957 in Batesville, MS to the late Billy Wayne and Mary Louise Appleton Tidwell. Joe was a retired self-employed construction worker and member of Bethany Baptist Church. Joe is survived by his wife of 33 years, Denise Mills Tidwell; daughter, Chesley Tidwell of Oxford, MS; two son, Whit and Chad Tidwell both of Batesville, MS and two brothers, Steve and Phil Tidwell of Batesville, MS
