Funeral services will be held at 11:00 O'Clock AM Thursday 12/29/11 at Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Zane Crawford officiating. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park with Hal Poston, Alex Poston, Eli Poston, Ben Poston, Sid Glissen and Kirk Crawford, serving as Pallbearers. Military Honors will be served. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 12/28/11 from 5-8 PM at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Crawford was born October 30, 1924 in Cotton Plant, AR to Ernest and Cora Kirk Crawford. Kenneth was a 45 year veteran River Boat Captain traveling the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers. Mr. Crawford was a WW II veteran serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a Baptist in faith. Survivors are a Daughter: Rebecca Crawford- Hernando, MS; 2 Sons: Reverend Zane Crawford- Houston, TX and Vaughn K. Crawford- Memphis, TN; Step-Daughter: Barbara Taylor- Memphis, TN; 10 Grandchildren 15 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
