Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12/21/2011 at 2:00 O'Clock PM at Rux Funeral Home 313 Market Street Galva, IL. There will be a two hour visitation prior to service time. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Kewanee, IL with Jon Patrick O'Grady, Michael Coaten, Marc Wong, Tony Wong, Terry Steward, Randy Long, Scott Todd and Sonny Winter as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Swindle, Jack Langley, Kenneth Taylor, Ricky Swindle, Bill Reed, Timmy Farris, Quinten Davis, Jay Porter and Michael Jefcoat. A Visitation will be held in Batesville, MS Sunday evening 12/18/11 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Wells Funeral Home. Mr. Todd was born December 24, 1947 to the late Willis C. Todd and Mother Virginia Todd Young. John was founder and owner of Southern Courier & Consulting, LLC of Batesville, MS and also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Batesville, MS. Mr. Todd served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves with 11 years of service. Survivors include a Daughter: Jennifer Todd Resmini- Horn Lake, MS; Son: Jeff L. Todd- Batesville, MS; Mother: Virginia Todd Young- Galva, IL; Sister Connie Todd Wong- Galesburg, Il; 5 Grandchildren: Jon Patrick, Kadey, Amanda Lauren, Kourtnei and Kristen. John was preceded in death by his Father: Willis C. Todd and Grandson: Christopher Todd. Family request memorials be sent to the Hagberg-Hamlin American Legion Post 45 PO Box 64 Galva, IL 61434.
