Raymond R. Bennett

Raymond R. Bennett age 75 of Nesbit, MS, died Saturday evening 12/3/11 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday 12/7/11 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home, with Reverend Gary Black, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Nesbit, MS officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday morning 12/7/11 until service time at 2:00 PM. Mr. Bennett was born October 1, 1936 in Hamburg, TN. to the late Jorden Fletcher and Mary Butler Bennett. Raymond was a chemical operator for 37 years where he worked for Grace Chemical and retiring from Mobil Chemical of Beaumont, TX. Mr. Bennett served his country in the United States Army. He leaves his wife Betty Snyder Bennett- Nesbit, MS; 2 Sons: Bryan Bennett- Horn Lake, MS; Jamie Bennett- Lumberton, TX; 2 Grandsons: Christopher and Aubrey; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Hannah, Rebecca and Ray.
