Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning 11:00 A.M. Tuesday morning. Interment will be in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville, MS. Glenda was born June 28, 1939 in Union City, TN to the late Lucien Blake and Hazel Henderson Baird. She was of the Baptist faith and was a medical transcriptionist for Methodist Health Care Systems. Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Bethea of Water Valley, MS; daughter, Renee' Bethea Crouch of Water Valley, MS; three sons, Richard Lee Bethea of Bartlett, TN, Russell Lynn Bethea of Memphis, TN, Ronald Blake Bethea of Millington, TN; sister, Peggy Baird Carpenter of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Glenda was preceded in death by parents and her son, Michael Lewis Bethea.
