Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 11/26/11, at Good Hope Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, 11/25/11 at Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Morgan will be offciating. Riley was born October 28, 1938 in Calhoun County, MS to the late Joe Louie and Mytrice Irene Landreth Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a member of Goodhope Baptist Church and was a carpenter. He served his country and was honorably discharge from the National Guard. Riley is survived by his two daughters, Anita Coleman Avalos of Byhalia, MS, Angela Coleman Barton of Courtland, MS; son, Riley Matthew Coleman of Batesville, MS; sister, Estha Mae Parker of Banner, MS; two brothers, Eldridge Coleman of Coffeeville, MS, Wayne Coleman of Coffeeville, MS; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death a sister, Alma Townsend and one brother, Rev. Russell Coleman.
