Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeDonald Nelson Golden, 66, of Enid, MS, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Greenville, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Pope Baptist, where he was a member, with visitation beginning one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, MS with Reverend Richard Wiman, Dr. Gary Berry and Reverend Roger Richards officiating. Pallbearers will be Benard Smith, Shelby Pinkerton, Bobby Sykes, Billy Sears, and Baine Smith. Mr. Golden was born January 23, 1945 in Coldwater, MS to the late Preston and Victoria Beatrice Yates Golden. Don was a Respiratory Therapist at Sardis Hospital before it closed down and went on to manage Wister Gardens in Belzoni, MS for 15 years as a master gardener. Don is survived by his wife, Dot Golden of Enid, MS; son, David Golden of Brighton, TN; two daughters, Michelle Golden Gough and Christy Golden Craig both of Brighton, TN; seven grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
