Click Here To View Video Memorial TributeShirley Cook, age 72, passed away Sunday morning, November 20, 2011 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Central Church located at 2005 Winchester Blvd., Collierville, TN. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday morning. Reverend Phil Dawson will be officiating. Mrs. Cook was born November 18, 1938 in Belmont, MS to the late Clyde R. and Ernestine Thompson Yarber. She was a retired banker and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Iuka, MS. Shirley is survived by her adoring husband, Porter Eugene (Gene) Cook, of Collerville, TN; three sons: Billy Mink and Rob Mink of Jackson, Mississippi, and Jeff Mink of Collierville; two step-daughters: Julie Cook Appleton of Batesville, MS and Portia Cook Tye of Elkin, West Virginia; twelve grandchildren: Mary Margaret Mink Harper, Megan Mink, Ann Mink, Robert Mink, Jr., Scott Mink, Payton Rose Mink, Patrick Mink and Wilson Mink, Emily Appleton, Wyatt Appleton, Matthew Tye, and Anna Tye, and two half-brothers: Joey Yarber and Jay Yarber of Alabama. Shirley is preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Edwin Mink of Golden, Mississippi; her sister, Peggy Yarber Dawson Thompson of Iuka, Mississippi, and her brother Buddy (Clyde R.
